Detroit born and Michigan raised, Amanda is a Metro Detroit creative, passionate about building spaces that inspire connection, creativity, and community. As the founder of You're so Fancy Studio, her focus has grown beyond photography alone and into creating opportunities for other creatives and businesses to thrive. Through thoughtful designed studio spaces, immersive concepts, and community centered events, Amanda's mission is to help elevate artist, photographers, and brands by giving them beautiful, accessible places to create.
Amanda attended Macomb Community College for art with plans to become an art director, she has always been driven by curiosity, storytelling, and visual experiences. She is deeply passionate about constantly learning and exploring new perspectives, with studies and interests spanning philosophy, ceramics, mythology, artificial intelligence technology, history, and cultures from around the world. That love of learning continues to shape both her creative process and the environments she builds for others.
While Amanda occasionally takes on photography work through referrals, her primary focus today is creating a business rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and artistic freedom. She believes the world needs more whimsy, more imagination, and more people willing to genuinely support and uplift one another. That belief became the foundation of her studio: a space designed not just for creating content, but for building community and helping others bring their ideas to life.
