How do I book a creative studio in Metro Detroit?

How much does it cost to rent a studio?

All three studios — Royal Oak, Pontiac, and Mount Clemens — rent for $85 per hour with a one-hour minimum, seven days a week with no weekend upcharges. See current discounts on the Book a Studio page.

Are your studios natural light?

Yes. All three locations — Royal Oak, Pontiac, and Mount Clemens — are professionally designed natural light studios with large windows. Continuous lighting and strobes are also available if you need to supplement or shoot after dark.

What are your studio hours?

We're open seven days a week with no weekend upcharges. Royal Oak runs 8am–9pm, Pontiac 9am–9pm, and Mount Clemens 9am–7pm. Book any available hour directly through the Book a Studio page.

What's included with a studio rental?

At You're So Fancy Studio, every rental is designed to give creatives a clean, flexible, and inspiring space to bring their ideas to life. Your rental includes: a professionally designed natural light studio; access to all studio rooms during your rental (Royal Oak has multiple rooms); styled shooting areas and backdrops; access to studio furniture and props; seamless paper backdrop options (additional cost if walked on); free Wi-Fi; Bluetooth speaker access; on-site restroom; easy parking nearby; and climate-controlled indoor space.

Do you have a photographer directory?

Yes. Browse our curated Metro Detroit photographer directory to filter by specialty, editing style, and session experience, then book directly.

Is a photographer included with my studio rental?

No. We provide the studio space, lighting, and props. You can bring your own photographer or hire one from our directory.

Can I bring my own lighting, props, or set?

Absolutely. You're welcome to bring your own lighting, props, wardrobe, and styling elements. For larger custom builds or set construction, reach out in advance so we can coordinate space and load-in.

How far in advance should I book?

Same-day and next-day bookings are possible by contacting 586.413.5322 and subject to availability. Otherwise bookings must take place at least 24 hours in advance.

Where are your studios located?

We have three Metro Detroit locations: Royal Oak, Pontiac, and Mount Clemens.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Bookings cancelled at least 48 hours before the start time may be rescheduled at no charge, subject to availability. Cancellations within 48 hours of the start time are non-refundable, but credit may be issued at our discretion.
