Why We're Building More Than a Studio
By You're So Fancy Studio ·
We believe there should be room for everyone to thrive, and that when creatives grow, we all grow. This is why we’re building tools that support visibility, not competition.

At You're So Fancy Studio, we've always believed there should be room for everyone to thrive.
The creative industry can feel competitive in ways that don’t always serve the people inside it. Algorithms change. Marketing costs rise. Visibility becomes harder to earn. And too often, small business owners are left feeling like they’re all competing for the same limited opportunities.
We don’t see it that way.
We believe there is enough space for photographers with different styles, different stories, and different perspectives to build successful businesses side by side. We believe collaboration is stronger than competition. And we believe that when creatives are supported, the entire industry becomes better for it.
That belief is the foundation behind everything we’re building.
Our new Studio Portfolio is one example.
We regularly receive inquiries from people looking for photographers who work out of our studio. Instead of treating those inquiries as something we hold onto, we wanted to build a system that extends that visibility outward, directly to the photographers already creating in our space.
Photographers can submit their work to be featured, showcase their style, and link directly to their photographer profile and Instagram. It’s not about ownership. It’s about access. It’s about giving your work another place to be seen.
As someone who genuinely loves technology, I’m always thinking about how tools and systems can be used to support people in more intentional ways. Not to replace relationships or creativity, but to strengthen them.
Because when they do well, we do well.
We don’t have to own a creative’s entire business to be part of their growth. We can use our platform to support their business, amplify their visibility, and help them connect with the people who are already looking for them.
That’s what this is really about.
When one photographer books a client, it doesn’t take away from another. When a photographer gets discovered, it strengthens the entire photography community. When photographers support each other, everyone grows.
Our goal is for You're So Fancy Studio to be more than a physical space. We want it to be a platform that actively contributes to the growth of the people who use it.
The Studio Portfolio is one step in that direction.
And it won’t be the last.
More tools. More visibility. More connection. More ways to support the creatives building their businesses inside this space.
Because we believe in celebrating each other’s wins, not competing for them. And above all, we believe there should be room for everyone to thrive.
